The Black Ops 3 Juggernog fridge is twice the size of the Battlefront fridge, but it also costs more and is currently completely sold out. In fact, earlier this year Activision revealed a special Juggernog mini-fridge that will come with the CE of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. It's weird enough that one video game collector's edition coming this year includes a mini-fridge, but what's even stranger is that this fridge-equipped version of Star Wars Battlefront is not alone. This newly revealed collector's edition could be evidence that Solo is making his way into the game, or it could simply be an attempt at clever marketing on EA's part. EA recently teased the announcement of a new character, but we are still waiting to learn just who that might be. The choice to have this particular item bundled with Star Wars Battlefront could indicate that Han Solo will become a playable character in the game. Based on how well similar collector's editions have sold at higher prices, it seems like EA could've easily charged a decent bit more than that and it still would've flew off store shelves with no problem. Gamers interested in the collector's edition of Star Wars Battlefront should know that it will retail for $129.99, which is surprisingly cheap. It's a little small, but it makes up for its lack of size with the fact that it has Han Solo, in our estimation. cans of soda (or whatever else), and has the ability to both cool and warm its contents. The mini-fridge is designed to hold six 12 oz. Better yet, this mini-fridge is adorned with Han Solo's likeness as a clever callback to the days when everyone's favorite intergalactic smuggler was trapped in carbonite. It does not store any personal data. This collector's edition, currently exclusive to Walmart and the console versions of the game, comes with the Deluxe Edition of Battlefront (which includes exclusive weapons and victory emotes), as well as a mini-fridge. If you ask me, the effect Frank and his team created appears to be more realistic than that of the original movie cos’ in the movie, it was obvious that glowing special effect was layered over the prop. The side panel, specifically the one to left of the fridge, is also home to a control to a secret of Frank’s Han Solo in Carbonite Refrigerator: Han grows in red – thanks to the embedded LEDs – to mimic the moment when Leia, who masquerade as a bounty hunter, turn the switch to unfreeze him at Jabba the Hut’s lair. Not only did Frank and team made a detailed replica, but they also went all out, taking care to include the side panel that lights up, albeit only on one side. How cool (pun, not intended, btw) is that? We have seen many Han Solo in Carbonite iterations, ranging from plain 2D sticker to life-size figure to coffee table, but there’s little doubt that Frank’s fridge takes the cake. Recently featured on, Frank created, wait for it… a Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Refrigerator. You may not know Frank, but he latest creation is definitely going to make any Star Wars fans go gaga. Special effect artist Frank Ippolito is known for his work on movies like Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, The Chronicles of Riddick, and Casanova, and he had hands in helping Adam Savage to create the amazing Admiral Ackbar cosplay for Adam’s incognito entrance at Comic-Con.
