Don’t know for ABSOLUTE, but I believe most Fender amps made after 1996 are made in Ensenada, Mexico. ![]() The 1964 Deluxe Reverb I used to own had no dashes on the power or output transformers, but the choke had dashes in the date code. Therefore, if you have a push-pull pot, your amp is 1974 or newer. The power transformer dates it to the 7th week of 1951 (in 1941 they were not 166- coded) and the X serial number on the amp is early 1950s. ![]() I have photos of a 1967 Fender amp with a 1966 power transformer with a dash in the EIA/Date code. I don't think you can infer anything useful from the dashes. ![]()
